Now we want to say something about the using of media of our parents and grandparents. Our grandparents they had a radio with only 2 channels and they also read newspapers. They used this very often and they did it to get informations. Our parents used the radio very often and it went almost all day. But they also read newspapers like Freie Presse which they also read today. And to communicate they used letters. Our parents told us that when they were young they use the TV only in the evening. They had only 2 legal channels from the DDR television but they also watched 2 channels from the West German television. However, this was illegal. There they watched a show which was named Dallas every tuesday. Now our parents watch often TV and use the radio only in the car.

Facts

• AT our school there are 566 pupil and 65 teachers.
• Our school has got two Houses one is the ``new`` building and the other one is the ``old`` building
• In the new-house there are the pupil who come new to this school 5-6 class and in the old house there are the pupil from 8-12 class
• We have also another house where the pupil from 10 to 12 class are

Meal and extracurriculars

• at our school there is a cafeteria

• on the one hand you can buy muffins or donuts or other sweet things and on the other hand you can buy real meals like chicken with potatoes
• there are also many extracurriculars like soccer,theater,comenius
• you  dont't have to choose one of this extracurriculars you can also say no I go home but most of us take one of them
  
  Bad and good poins
  
  

  Good Points:                           1. rooms for physics, chemistry and biology have a very good equipment

                                                2. 3 computer rooms with high-tech computer and a room for communication with head-sets

                                                3. big school yard with a little sports field for sport games

                                                4. cafeteria and also a dining room

                                                5. extracurricular activities but they are voluntary

                                                6. extra house or complex for the 11^th and 12^th grade

  
  

  
  

  Bad Points:                          1. not all class rooms are renovated yet
